Our company motto is Be Great - Have Fun, and we truly believe that we embody that on a daily basis.JOB DESCRIPTIONDevelop skills and knowledge to become a Regional Sales Manager This position is designed to equip the candidate with the skills, knowledge and ability to move into the position of Regional Sales Manager and take responsibility for specific territoriesAnalyze sales reports and recommend solutions Understand why a certain customers sales are up or down and recommend changes to strategy Analyze and identify trends in markets or territories to develop actionable plans and objectivesAssist with customer sales calls Work with Regional Sales Managers to meet with customers and present products and programs Understand and implement a sales and marketing strategy in a variety of geographies for different markets and customer types Travel to different locations as needed to meet with customers and prospectsSpecial Projects Manage or assist on special projects related to customers, products, or markets Projects include marketing, sales strategy, customer development, product introductions, market research, and new market entryPresent products and programs to customers and prospects Learn how to present products and programs and be able to follow specific strategies Be knowledgeable about the features, benefits and inner workings of 500+ productsTRAINING FOR FUTURE SUCCESS This program is designed to equip you with the skills and experience necessary to be an effective Regional Sales Manager within Tolco Corporation. This program is a 6 month training period where you will interact with different departments within Tolco and work with sales managers to develop sales knowledge to meet with customers independently.OPERATIONAL ROTATIONSpend time with each department to understand their functions, challenges, and what our capabilities are. This will be important to know when interacting with customers. Rotate through the different departments within Tolco to gain hands on experience and an understanding of how everything fits together. Areas on the rotation will be warehouse/dock, packaging, art, imprinting, quality control, traffic and ITACCOUNTING & CUSTOMER SERVICE ROTATIONThe customer service department is often the first point of contact between our customers and Tolco, and it is important to understand how we interact with customers on the front line. Spend time with customer service to understand who our customers are, what their needs are, and how we interact with them Learn about tracking orders, answering customer questions, solving problems, helping with orders and researching background information on accounts Accounting topics include the customer set up process, invoicing, billing, collections, incentive programs and moreSALES ROTATIONTolco is a sales driven organization, and this is one of the most important components of our business. We want to prepare the candidate to be an effective, motivated, and well trained member of our team to be able to produce results for years to come. Develop the skills and knowledge needed to be an effective regional sales manager by working closely with the sales team Gain an understanding of Tolcos sales reports, how they are generated, and what can be learned about customers and territories from report analysis Assist on customer sales meetings, product presentations, independent sales rep interactions, and more This section of the training will involve travel to customer locations with Tolco Regional Sales Managers to understand how we present products, learn the process, and eventually become comfortable making these meetings alone.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree Goal oriented individual able to demonstrate time management skills Capable of learning product specific details and incorporating these into presentations Able to complete individual goals as well as work in a team environment Demonstrated leadership skills and competencies Professional demeanor with a desire for a long-term career in sales Able to demonstrate critical thinking skills to acquire a higher level of understanding of role, processes, and procedures Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsCompany DescriptionTolco Corporation is a manufacturer of trigger sprayers and other sanitary supply necessities.
