Job Description:/h3:
DIRECTOR OF SALES

Responsibilities include:
:Work with Sales Team members to develop sales strategies
:Directing sales and follow up to global and local corporate market
:Achievement of total account penetration by developing all aspects of room production within accounts
:Identify prospective new accounts through market research
:To analyze every account with regard to additional business opportunities, need structure, decision and booking patterns
:To monitor market trends and communicate these to the hotel
:Quarterly competition analysis and feedback
:Manage designated accounts producing group business and to grow new accounts to enhance the database
:Arrange and conduct customer sales presentations and sales calls on a weekly basis
:Negotiate guest room rates, function space and meeting room rental within approved guidelines
:Participate in outside sales calls, Trade Fairs, Joint Sales Calls with brand NSO and Telemarketing activities throughout the year
:Attend all relevant industry networking opportunities.
:Participation in the respective franchise RFP pricing process
:Responding to leads via the brand, CVENT and other lead sources
:Developing brand awareness in local market and business community
:Generation of leads, as appropriate, for sister properties
:Follow Personal Sales Action Plans, updating on a regular basis where appropriate
:Consistently meet or exceed all sales goals
:Assisting GM in development and implementation of annual sales and marketing plan
:Implementing marketing strategies as directed by management
:Ensuring compliance with brand standards and marketing strategies.

Promote team work and great service through great communication and coordination with other departments
:
Maintain accurate reporting of sales activities by determined monthly report
:
To portray the highest possible standard of both personal and company image when representing the hotel
Requirements
:
University or College degree preferred
:
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
:
Knowledge of Sales Pro preferred
:
Flexibility to travel occasionally.
:
Hotel sales experience, 2 years or more
:
Motivated individual who works well both independently and within a team
:
Understands customers, build organizational credibility and develops new revenue sources
:
Manages expenses, maximizes revenues, encourages up:selling
:
Has an understanding of customer service and is able to implement it on a day to day basis
:
Demonstrated strong communication and problem solving skills
:
Experience in setting and meeting achievement oriented goals and standards
:
Ability to prioritize and meet all deadlines
