The Department of Engineering Technologies at Bowling Green State University invites applications for adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate courses in Electronics & Computer Engineering Technology (ECET) and Engineering Technology (ENGT) [like mechanical engineering technology], and Quality Systems (QS). We are seeking multiple candidates for multiple positions. • Electronics & Computer Engineering Technology – Search for ECET courses. Part-time instructors may be hired to teach one or more courses in electric circuits, analog/digital electronics, analog communication circuits/signals, and renewable energy sources/systems at the undergraduate level.

For teaching, a master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, electrical/computer engineering technology or closely related field is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering may be considered with at least 3 years with a preference of 5 yrs of industrial/teaching experience within the field, to be judged by the department faculty in the program with approval of Chair/Dean required.

• Engineering Technology – Search for ENGT courses. Part-time instructors may be hired to teach one or more courses, either at the undergraduate level or at the graduate level.

For teaching at the bachelor’s level a master’s degree is preferred, but a bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology or highly related field may be considered with at least 3 years of industrial experience within the field, to be judged by the department with approval of the Dean required. A Ph.D. in engineering, engineering technology or closely related field may be required for graduate instruction, along with graduate faculty status approval.


• Quality Systems – Search for QS courses. Part-time instructors may be hired to teach one or more courses, either at the undergraduate level or at the graduate level.
