Providing Architectural directions for internal and external execution teams and delivers software with quality. Execution teams include Systems Managers, Analysts, Application Architects, Delivery Leads, Developers, and external resources to support the defined application portfolio. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: * Leads the s/w delivery organization with strong focus on quality. * Provides leadership in motivating the associates to accomplish Digital Technologies organization goals and objectives. * Drives Agile & DevOps adaption and achieves maturity model established for the Provider Contracting Systems. * Implements IT digitization, and modernization strategy on the responsible application portfolio. * Has fiscal responsibility for IT budgets and accurate forecasting. * Implements the policies, practices, and procedures of the company and Information Technology (IT) organization. * Collaborate with execution teams (both IT and Business) to assure architectural solution could be suitably translated into effectual and robust implementation. * Establishes relationships with Business partners. * Develops a strong team through training and effective organizational development practices. * Audits quality standards of the processes and developed software periodically. * Obtains resources (people, funding, material, support) to get things accomplished. * Manages resources effectively and efficiently to support the operational needs and strategic initiatives. * Ensures accuracy and timeliness of the committed deliverables to the Business partners. * Hires qualified staff for assigned areas or functions. * Oversees department or functional area within business unit, which may encompass multiple projects simultaneously. * Receives objectives from senior management and collaborates on the most appropriate process for accomplishing goals. * Requires an BA/BS degree in related field or technical institute training; 10 or more years related experience; multi-platform experience, and expert level experience with business and technical applications; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. * Incumbent should also have the ability to mentor others, and provide troubleshooting support. * Demonstrated leadership skills with complex IT Solution Architecture to drive teams to achieve results. * Service Oriented Architecture knowledge is required * Business Rules Engine, and Workflow tools (PEGA) knowledge is a must * Agile & DevOps implementation experience is required * Provider pricing/contracting domain knowledge is required*//**/Anthem, Inc. is ranked as one of America?s Most Admired Companies among health insurers by Fortune magazine and is a 2016 DiversityInc magazine Top 50 Company for Diversity.
