Where the Chemistry Happens As a part of Automotive Refinish Marketing, the ABS (Advanced Business Solutions) Team offers our customers innovative processes, tools, and strategic solutions to help their businesses grow and increase profits. The Software Developer I is a key member of the ABS Team, reporting to the Software Development Team Lead. This position is the entry-level role for the development of the software applications for the global BASF Automotive Refinish Market. Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field required, or an Associate's Degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience required. - Development experience with Microsoft Visual Studio. - Basic knowledge of software development and testing methodologies. - Experience with programming languages (C#), and SQL statements. - Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). - Basic understanding of software development concepts (ie, data relationships, logic modeling, use case analysis, function specification development). - Ability to communicate and interact with a diverse team. - Analytical skills and creativity. - Solid problem solving skills.
